Barnes' Notes on the Bible For the preaching of the cross - Greek, "the word (ὁ λόγος ho logos) of the cross;" that is, the doctrine of the cross; or the doctrine which proclaims salvation only through the atonement which the Lord Jesus Christ made on the cross, This cannot mean that the statement that Christ died "as a martyr" on a cross, appears to be foolishness to people; because, if that was all, there would be nothing that would appear contemptible, or that would excite their opposition more than in the death of any other martyr. The statement that Polycarp, and Ignatius, and Paul, and Cranmer died as martyrs, does not appear to people to be foolishness, for it is a statement of an historical truth, and their death excites the high admiration of all people. And if, in the death of Jesus on the cross, there had been nothing more than a mere martyr's death, it would have been equally the object of admiration to all people. That is, it appears to them to be contemptible and foolish, or unworthy of belief. To the great mass of the Jews, and to the pagan philosophers, and indeed, to the majority of the people of this world, it has ever appeared foolishness, for the following reasons: (1) The humble origin of the Lord Jesus. They despise him that lived in Nazareth; that was poor; that had no home, and few friends, and no wealth, and little honor among his own countrymen. (2) they despise him who was put to death, as an impostor, at the instigation of his own countrymen, in an ignominious manner on the cross - the usual punishment of slaves. (3) they see not why there should be any particular efficacy in his death. They deem it incredible that he who could not save himself should be able to save them; and that glory should come from the ignominy of the cross. (4) they are blind to the true beauty of his personal character; to the true dignity of his nature;

ABOUT THE POOR IN THE CITY OF ROCHESTER NEW YORK

WALKING ON THE STREET DAILY IN ROCHESTER, NEW YORK COUNSELING THE POOR AND THE NEED. THE THING THAT WORRIES ME UNDER THE SUN IS THIS, ' I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE ARE SO COLD HEARTED TO WARD THE POOR AND THE NEEDY. THERE ARE MANY CHILDREN ESPECIALLY COMING FROM A DUST POOR HOME AND DO NOT KNOW WHERE TO GET THEIR FIRST MEAL OF THE DAY. MANY OF THEM ARE IN THE PARKING LOTS AND CORNER STORES ENTRANCES BEGGING A .25 TO BUY A BAG OF CHIPS. IT SHOULD NOT BE SO WHEN THERE ARE MANY RICH PEOPLE IN OUR SOCIETY. THE POOR AND THE NEEDY IN ROCHESTER, NEW YORK NEEDS YOUR HELP. WHAT I INTEND TO DO WITH THE HELP OF THOSE WHO CARE IS THEIS. I'M ASKING FOR A DONATION TO PURCHASE A BUILDING TO REMODLE FOR A MEAL KITCHEN FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY.  WE ARE TRYING TO COVER THE FOUR AREAS OF ROCHESTER INNER CITY FOR THIS PURPOSE, SO THAT THE POOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WILL BE ABLE TO EAT DAILY. " Meal Kitchen" Proposal

Passionately Standing Behind the Youth Of  Today's for Tomorrow's Future in the City of Rochester, an organization that I founded, believes that all children deserve to have balanced meals daily.  When these meals are provided, especially breakfast, this helps children to concentrate and to challenge their minds academically throughout the school day.  It is very hard for anyone to think cognitively when hungry, and children are no exception. Since we believe that proper food and nourishment play a significant role in students learning, we are compelled to provide a "Meal Kitchen" to feed the children on the west side of the City of Rochester. We believe that parents, teachers, and community leaders should be involved in this project, by voicing their opinion in making important decisions, such as assisting with resources and volunteers.

We understand that our economic standing does not meet the standard for which we aspire at this time, so we would like have fundraisers to help with this project.  We must understand that it is very hard for poor parents to find healthy food for their children, and it is even more difficult to find this type of food to provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on a consistent basis. 

Developing a "Meal Kitchen" for the Children on the west side of the City will help to address the virus of students dropping out of school and becoming unfortunate statistics.  Many children are placed at risk due to poverty, abuse, culture, language, race and other factors. These factors are rarely understood or addressed by the schools that they attend. Moreover, if we want to have outstanding students in school each academic year, it is vital to provide them with a balance diet, including proper amounts of carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, fruits and vegetables. Adequate nutrition is not only for growth but also for the building of healthy bones and brain cells. (Physiology 1995, MCC). 

 Standing Behind the Youth of Today's for Tomorrow's Future in the City of Rochester is willing to make room at 314 Jay Street, Rochester, NY, in order to develop this project to feed our children each day before school and after school. We believe that parents who are unable to serve healthy meals to their children will passionately embrace idea. This effort is not to receive anything in return, but to give to the children in our community. We strongly believe that, with community support, caring people who observe and are moved by the needs of these children in this regard will carry out our efforts. We have no doubt that these and other compassionate individuals will help us with resources and volunteers to start this "Meal Kitchen" for the benefit of these children with love and sincerity.

CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME OUT OF THE YOUTH IN THE CITY OF ROCHESTER? IS LIKE ASKING, CAN ANTHING GOOD COMES OUT OF NAZARETH? THESE ARE COMPARISON QUESTIONS.

ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS: 

1)       YES, SOMETHING GOOD CAN COME OUT OF OUR YOUTH IN THE CITY OF ROCHESTER. THEY ALL HAVE POTENTIAL, THEY ARE WILLING TO LEARN NEW, SUCH AS CARPENTRY, PLUMBING, COMPUTER SKILLS, BECOMING PROFESSIONALS, SUCH AS BEING DOCTORS, ENGINEERS, NURSES, TEACHERS , LEGISLATORS, LAWYERS, JUDGES, PILOTS,  AND PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. WE CAN HELP THESE CHILDREN TO BECOME WHATEVER THEY WANT TO BE IN THIS GIVEN WORLD THAT CARRIES GOOD AND EVIL. WE WANT THEM ON A GOOD JOURNEY TO GATHER WHAT THEY NEED TO REACH THEIR GOALS. WE NEED PEOPLE WHO SEE THE VISION FOR THESE CHILDREN, TO HELP THEM TO PURSUE IT. THEY ARE NOT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER, WELL-TO-DO CHILDREN, THEY JUST NEED SOMEONE TO USHER THEM INTO THEIR FUTURE.

AS A PASTOR GOING THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF ROCHESTER, TALKING TO THESE CHILDREN, THEY NEED HELP NOW! THEY WANT TO RUN THE RACE THAT THEY SEE PEOPLE’S CHILDREN’S FROM THE UPPER CLASS RUNNING, BUT FEAR TAKES OVER THEIR DREAMS. SPECIFICALLY, THIS IS THE FEAR, “IF I TRY, WILL SOMEONE HELP ME TO CONTINUE MY DREAM? CERTAIN PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT WE ARE NOTHING. I AM NOT GOING TO MAKE IT. Now, AS A PEOPLE TO THE PEOPLE, WE MUST REMOVE THAT “BULWARK” IN ORDER FOR THE POORER-CLASS CHILDREN TO WALK INTO THEIR DESTINY.

2)       WITH JESUS, THE QUESTION WAS ASKED, “CAN ANTHING GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARETH?” YES, SOMETHING GOOD COMES OUT OF NAZARTH- JESUS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD WHO DIED FOR THE SIN OF THIS WORLD ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE.  THEOLOGICALLY SPEAKING IN REGARDS TO THE JESUS’ QUESTION;, TOM SEITZ  PASTOR FROM (THE LAKE SIDE OF FLORIDA), WROTE THIS ,” something good, something very good, in fact, the very Son of God and the King of Israel had come out of Nazareth and many knew him as the honest man that he was.” DO I WANT TO QUOTE THE BIBLE REGARDING THE YOUTH?  YES, BECAUSE SOMETHING GOOD IS IN THESE YOUTH, AND WE NEED TO HELP THEM REALIZE THE GOOD THAT EXISTS IN THEM AND BY-PASS THE EVIL THAT IS OUT TO DESTROY THEM. THE LONGER WE WAIT, THE MORE THEY WILL PERISH AWAY ON THE STREET. I WANT TO HEPL THEM TO OVERCOME THEIR FEARS, HELP ME TO HELP THEM TO FULFILL THEIR ABOVE REQUEST.

They group together for various social reasons including protection, interaction, and (very key to the gang problem) self worth. Many find importance and status with in a gang structure.

2.    Recruit mentors and young people. The best way to recruit is by using your partner schools to spread the word. Universities will occasionally give students who volunteer credit or opportunities for class projects, in connection with their mentor work. Schools will be able to select...

PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO INVOLVED IN COURT CASEAs you face a legal battle, you must choose to walk in God’s righteousness, His integrity, His love and His Word. And through the challenge, stand on, pray and confess the truth of God’s Word as reflected in the following prayer:
Father, I ask You to help me as I face this legal battle. I thank You for being a very present help in time of trouble. I open my heart to the Holy Spirit to reveal any of my own disobedience in this matter so that I may repent and receive Your forgiveness. Deliver me from hate and revenge.
In the Name of Jesus, I ask You to cause truth to prevail. I pray that You will protect me from lying tongues and deceitful lips. I believe and declare that no weapon formed against me will prosper, and any tongue unjustly rising against me will be shown to be wrong. I will dwell in Your secret place, which hides me from the strife of tongues. I pray that you will stop false witnesses that speak against me and cause them to be caught in their own trap. Help me as I reply in defense. Let Your Spirit give me the words to say when I need them.
Let your power rules in every word of the trial. Oh God excercise you wisdom in the Judge's hear that he may acknowledge the truth from the lies and set the prisoner free. You are the knowledger keeper and the victory holder. Today, those who are facing lawsuits falsely, you are covered by the blood of the holy spirit of God and as of this day you will not be before another Judge for any crime that is written in the Criminal Law... IN JESUS NAME. GIVE GOD A PRAISE BECAUSE IT'S ALREADY DONE! AMEN.

Greetings in the MIGHTY PRECIOUS NAME'S OF JESUS. Do you all love the Lord who woke you up this morning? if so, give him a PRAISE! whereever you are my friend. He is great in his Majesty; King, of Kings, and Lord of all. Glory to God. I am blessed with his love. You know if we would serve the Lord as we practice to wake up each day and go to work, evil would decrease from this world. In addition, if we could love the Lord as we loved the flesh, evil would reduce from this world and the atmosphere would fill with praise to the Lord. My Brothers and Sisters, Jesus loves all of us, lets give him all the praise that he deserves. God bless you.

CONCERN PARENT

The inner City youth of Rochester, need sincere help from compassionate people. As a pastor going through and through the city of Rochester, daily talking to the youth and hearing their cry, they are suffering from oppression of the wealthy who look down on them and pre-judge them. They are saddened by the citizens who have labled them to be drug dealers and murderers. When I asked them why do they believe they are oppressed by the wealthy, their responses, " Check out the jail down town and see who are locked up, it's only the black men; they created the jail for us. They gives us Felony for everything because they want to suffer us from getting a good job and all that. we sell drugs because we have no

other way to survive." When I heard these complains I am saddened to know these youth are experiencing the evil side of those who should look at their suffering and make a change to their situation. I believe the government needs to be challenge to improve the City of Rochester, to work more closely with the youth of today in their weak points by finding out what is triggering them to do the things that they are doing. The poor teens decision sometimes creates a bad decision for others. Better yet. Everyone can make a difference in these youth lives in our community- by finding out their needs and help them. We can do it when we come together as a loving and compassionate community, we will have the ability to make changes.

GOD IS GREAT ABOVE ALL GOD gods

God is your Medicine through faith. Every organ in yourbody is covered through faith. God is your medicine, and him alone can heal your sickness. The very medication that you may take, God is in it, if not, it cannot work. In your daily living, remember that God is your medicine, his word fulfills his character, he is our healer and our medicine man. The book of Psalms let us know what God's will is concerning diseases. Ps 103:2-3 2 "Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." NIV The Hebrew word for diseases is "tachaluw" and means physical disease, sickness. God is your medicine, and your healer. Glory to God.

29 Furthermore David the king said unto all the congregation, Solomon my son, whom alone God hath chosen, is yet young and tender, and the work is great: for the palace is not for man, but for the Lord God.

² Now I have prepared with all my might for the house of my God the gold for things to be made of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and the brass for things of brass, the iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and marble stones in abundance.
³ Moreover, because I have set my affection to the house of my God, I have of mine own proper good, of gold and silver, which I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house.
⁴ Even three thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses withal:
⁵ The gold for things of gold, and the silver for things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?
⁶ Then the chief of the fathers and princes of the tribes of Israel and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the rulers of the king's work, offered willingly,
⁷ And gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand drams, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.
⁸ And they with whom precious stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of the Lord, by the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
⁹ Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the Lord: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

¹¹ Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.
¹² Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

¹⁴ But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
¹⁵ For we are strangers before thee, and sojourners, as were all our fathers: our days on the earth are as a shadow, and there is none abiding.
¹⁶ O Lord our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name cometh of thine hand, and is all thine own.
¹⁷ I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of mine heart I have willingly offered all these things: and now have I seen with joy thy people, which are present here, to offer willingly unto thee.
¹⁸ O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers, keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their heart unto thee:
¹⁹ And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep thy commandments, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for the which I have made provision.
²⁰ And David said to all the congregation, Now bless the Lord your God. And all the congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed down their heads, and worshipped the Lord, and the king.
²¹ And they sacrificed sacrifices unto the Lord, and offered burnt offerings unto the Lord, on the morrow after that day, even a thousand bullocks, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel:
²² And did eat and drink before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him unto the Lord to be the chief governor, and Zadok to be priest.
²³ Then Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.
²⁴ And all the princes, and the mighty men, and all the sons likewise of king David

DEAR GOD GIVES ME FAITH TO ENDURE ALL THINGS, EVEN THOUG IT IS HARD TO ENDURE. THANK YOU FOR STRENGTH IN A TIME LIKE THIS. LORD I LOVE AND THANK YOU FOR KEEPING ME DURING THIS MOMENT.  AMEN.

MONDAY:

ETERNAL GOD AND EVERLASTING FATHER, I BOW DOWN BEFORE THE CROSS OF FORGIVENES, RIGHT NOW, ASKING YOU FOR PEACE, JOY, AND FORGIVENESS; LORD HELP ME TO MAINTAIN MY SANITY, IN JESUS’ NAME.  AMEN.

HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD, LOOK DOWN FROM BEHIND THE VAIL AND HAVE MERCY AND COMPASSION ON ME. I AM WEAK AND SHORT OF THY GOLRY- NEED YOU EVERY HOUR-NEED YOU IN THE MIDDAY OH, LORD AND IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR, BLESS ME LORD AND SET ME FREE FROM MY ENEMY.        AMEN.    

WEDNESDAY:

THIS DAY I PRAY FOR OVERFLOWING BLESSING FOR MY CHILDREN AND FAMILY… FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS, PROTECT MY CHILDREN AND FAMILY FROM ALLL DANGER. BUILD A SHIELD AROUND THEM OH, LORD. LET US BE THE HEAD AND NOT THE TAIL. KEEP US FROM ALL EVIL.
